The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine group.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
