Salah Offers Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones

Jones has shared that Mohamed Salah apologised to the group of players following the uproar from his recent interview.

The Incident

The striker was dropped from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his relationship with manager had deteriorated.

“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
